- Initiation and preparation of possible treatments
4. Processing of sensitive health data
Within the contact form and, in particular, the online questionnaire, you may transmit information about your health to us (e.g. details about snoring, breathing pauses, sleep quality or existing findings). Such health data is considered sensitive personal data under both Art. 9 GDPR and the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP).
The transmission and processing of this health data takes place exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) in conjunction with Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR as well as Art. 6(6) and Art. 31 revFADP). You give this consent by ticking the corresponding checkbox in the form before submitting your details. Without this consent, transmission of health data via the forms is not possible.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected. An informal message to the contact address above is sufficient for withdrawal.
5. Data disclosure
Your data is not passed on to uninvolved third parties. The data is processed and forwarded, to the extent necessary, exclusively by Dr. Adler and the practice location you visited.
6. Hosting and technical infrastructure
This website is hosted by the following provider:

The host processes, on our behalf, the data required to operate the website (data processing agreement). Further information on the storage location and technical details can be found on the host’s website.
7. Server log files
When the website is accessed, technical access data is automatically recorded in server log files (including the page accessed, the time of access, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, the browser and operating system used, and the IP address). This data serves technical provision, security and statistical analysis and is not combined with other data sources.
8. Cookies and consent management
This website uses cookies and, to obtain and document your consent, the consent technology of Borlabs Cookie (Borlabs GmbH, Hamburg). The consent you grant or withdraw is stored in the corresponding cookie. You can adjust or withdraw your cookie settings at any time via the consent tool on the website.
9. Google reCAPTCHA
To protect the forms against abusive, automated use, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google. Technical data (including the IP address) is transmitted to Google in the process. Google’s privacy policy applies.
10. Retention period
The data collected via the forms is retained for a period of 10 years and then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion or the purpose of processing ceases beforehand.
11. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.

Within the statutory framework, you have the right to information about the data stored about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to data portability, a right to object, and the right to withdraw consent you have given.
